Vandy was no hit through 6 before a solo shot in the bottom of the 7th broke up the no hitter against Wright State. Another solo shot in the bottom of the 8th brought them with in one and a controversial 2 run shot in the same inning put them ahead. Initially called fouls the umpires got together and changed the call. Wright St asked for a review but the home run was allowed to stand. Vandy won 4-3
