bunk - I'm a lawyer trying to expand my business development network and one thing i've been doing with some success is sending handwritten thank you notes with small gifts to people after I resolve cases. most of the time i learn something about the client and can select a gift that fits them. but that is not always the case as sometimes i dont really learn enough or something that gives a small gift idea. with women clients, i have just been getting them starbucks gift cards and that goes over well. however, with dudes, i dont really know what small equivalent i could get. i dont want to be patronizing and i dont want to be gh3y. i could send alcohol but i dont know if everyone jives with that. i've thought about like an amazon card or something but i dunno. any ideas would be appreciated.
